She's been identified as 27-year-old Ledrika Ford.
The video posted on Facebook also showed several people attending to the child, according to a press release from the Utica Police Department. After several hours, police were able to locate 27-year-old Ledrika Ford on the 500 block of Milgate Street, in Utica.
In a statement released on Saturday morning, Utica Police said Ford told officers that she and an unnamed relative were unsure as to how her infant ended up on the street.
She returned to Pellettiere Avenue and Bleecker Street, where she had left when she didn't see her child Ford told officers and found her baby, police said.
Ford said she went back to Pellettieri and Bleecker Street, where she found her child.

Police began an investigation when they became aware of the video on Facebook around 10:30 on Friday.
Ford is now not in police custody.
Ford is due in court on March 23.
