Nick Broomfield and Rudi Dolezal's Whitney Houston documentary Whitney: Can I Be Me bowed a year ago at the Tribeca Film Festival and aired on Showtime in August.
Whitney, the documentary about the life and career of Whitney Houston is set to be released this summer - and features never-before-seen performances. The flick will be released in the United States, United Kingdom and Ireland on July 6, as announced Friday (Mar. 9) by Roadside Attractions presidents Howard Cohen and Eric d'Arbeloff and Miramax CEO Bill Block. He captures all of Whitney's magic, and he does not ignore the hard times.
