Geena Davis, who had an arc on Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Nicole Herman, a top fetal surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial before she lost her sight from surgery to remove a brain tumor, is checking back in to the medical drama on the May 10 episode, according to Deadline.

While it may have been somewhat of a foregone conclusion, it's still very nice that it's finally locked down: Grey's Anatomy season 15 is now official over at ABC. Meredith and Jo talk the owner of the patent into the plastic they desire for their endeavor, who coincidentally is really a friend of the household, on "Grey's Anatomy, " THURSDAY, MARCH 8 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network".

Grey's Anatomy will presumably be returning to its #TGIT time slot, but as for what will be joining it, we're still not sure.

Lastly, Capshaw included a message to series creator Shonda Rhimes, thanking her "with a heart full of love" for "the ride on this incredible roller coaster". Betsy Beers ("Scandal", "How to Get Away with Murder"), Mark Gordon ("Saving Private Ryan"), Krista Vernoff ("Shameless"), William Harper, Zoanne Clack, Debbie Allen and Fred Einesman are executive producers.

"Grey's Anatomy" is broadcasted in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
