Acer's ultra-thin all-in-one desktop is now on sale
The IPS display itself measures 23.8-inches diagonally and has a Full HD resolution. Talking about the wireless charger, the system supports wireless charging for Qi-enabled devices. The Taiwan Excellence Award highlighted the hyper-slim profile and user-friendly display of the all-in-one device, while the Japan Good Design Award singled out the S24 for its "geometric lines and simple design".
Besides its slim design, the Aspire S24's coolest feature is integrated Qi wireless charging.
Acer has a new all-in-one PC it's introducing to the world today, and while this is a fairly standard mid-range machine in many regards, there are two features that make for interesting points of focus.

Acer feels their S24 stands out for more than its aesthetic, though. "The ultra-slim form factor and wireless charging free up desk space, while ample power delivers smooth performance". Acer put all the guts of the PC in the base, which allowed it to (cheaply) shrink the bezels and thickness to achieve a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a quarter-inch screen thickness. The display is tiltable from -5 to 25 degrees and includes Acer ExaColor, BluelightShield and Flickerless technologies.
The S24 contains 12GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2400MHz by default (with support for up to 32GB RAM) and a 1TB HDD for your storage needs. In addition, the desktop also comes with one USB Type-C port, three USB Type-A ports, and a USB 2.0 port. If one display isn't enough, Acer also says the S24 will contain an HDMI slot for a second monitor, though the company made no mention of other display connectivity options such as DisplayPort or DVI-D. However, it already looks to be available at Acer's website for $899.99. Acer's IFA announcement on August 30 gave a North American arrival date of January, with a starting price of $999.
