Instead of sitting tight or shuffling off for her stylist to fix the malfunction, she did what we would all only expect from her - she stood up, turned round and bent over.
Never one to shy away from the camera, when Katy Perry split her pants she couldn't help turning round and showing the American Idol audience a lot more than they bargained for. Something appeared to make Katy laugh her head off so that she shook her entire body, before she exclaimed, "Oh my god I split my trousers".
Upon finding out he'd never kissed someone before, 33-year-old Katy called him up to the judging desk and summoned him to kiss her on the cheek. The singer, who wore a sparkly minidress and high heels, enthusiastically joined a contestant dancing and stated dropping low.
