The Daily Telegraph have taken Arsene Wenger's admission that the news on the Armenian's injury is "not too positive" and speculated that he may not play again this season.

Whilst the game in the Europa League could not allow Aubameyang and Lacazette to be played together (the former is cup-tied), the second half against Stoke and these two admissions by club management, suggest that this is inevitable in one of these two ways.

Wenger may look to rest a few players against Southampton on Sunday but Arsenal's home support will be desperate to see their star man. I felt that it was a spectacular first half played at a high pace, but also an uncomfortable one for me because they looked risky as well.
