In the upcoming NFL Draft, they also hold the second-overall selection. With these draft picks, each team has the opportunity to draft a prospect, or trade their pick to move up and down in the draft order.

So what then? Do the Giants take Darnold or running back Saquon Barkley? The New York Giants agree as they view Barkley as a "near ideal prospect" and "a better player than Ezekiel Elliott", according to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post.

The Browns had to field trade offers here for Josh Rosen. That Barkley, the transcendent running back from Penn State, is available when the Giants pick and they scoop him up faster than you can say "the New York Jets are on the clock with the third pick in the draft". Mayfield is what the Jets need. Often, he played where there was the greatest need. "Maybe they're not the sexiest picks, but worst-case scenario, you're going to end up with a solid player who can step in and contribute pretty early".

Saquon Barkley may prefer to be teammates with Eli Manning, but he's not adopting the same draft strategy. "I want to be that image for Cleveland'".
