Mehbooba Mufti has already accepted the resignations of two BJP ministers who had participated in a rally in support of the people arrested in connection with the rape-murder.
He said a decision on the resignations was taken last week, when the party's general secretary and key interlocutor with the PDP, Ram Madhav, travelled to the state at the peak of a controversy following the rape and murder of an eight-year-old in Jammu's Kathua. "All BJP ministers have been directed to submit their resignations from the state council of ministers", the source said, clarifying: "All BJP ministers have resigned ahead of a Cabinet reshuffle and this does not in any way mean the BJP has pulled out of the government". He also asked Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to resign.
Koul said that BJP works for strengthening the religious harmony between people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
