The young Maple Leafs star was touched during Game 3 when fans started chanting "Aus-ton Matth-ews!" after his goal in the second period, his first of the series against the Bruins.

The Leafs finished the regular season winning 16 of their last 18 games at Air Canada Centre and continued that trend with a much more energetic and physical effort against Boston in Game 3 on Monday, but they will likely have to push back even harder if they are to even the series. Tommy Wingels, injured in Game 1, will rejoin Boston lineup and skate on the fourth line with Tim Schaller and Noel Acciari.
