To use it, you use the Shell widget to pick a location, then you can select a pump and start fueling.
This feature will initially be available on 2017 and 2018 Chevrolet cars and will only be available at Shell gas stations in Houston, Detroit, and Seattle. Payment is automatically charged to whatever source the driver has on file, and connects to the driver's Shell Fuel Rewards loyalty account, if applicable.
All told, that's three different numbers or codes you'll have to enter just to spare yourself from having to pull out your wallet or smartphone, though we suppose it does offer some appeal if you're fueling up in a bad neighborhood or if it's freezing outside.

The automaker is launching an "in dash" payment system that lets you pay from gas inside your vehicle via infotainment systems.

Marketplace is available in eligible 2017MY and newer Chevrolet vehicles in the U.S.
