There were laughs and tears on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday as actress Eva Longoria was honored with a star.
"Oh my god, it was really surreal today". I meant it when I said, 20 years ago, standing nearly at this spot: "I'm gonna have a star one day", and then, for it to happen. The actress, philanthropist, designer and mommy-to-be was celebrated by fans, family and celebrity friends as she received the biggest honor by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
"It's really important for me to be here, for people to come and see the star, and know that you can do it with a lot of hard work", said Longoria.
"I feel like I'm still a little girl from Corpus Christi, Texas, who had a really big dream and big hair", Longoria said, to chuckles from the crowd. This has been really, really special.
