News 9 sat down with an OU Social Justice Professor who was two seats away from the woman who died on the tragic Southwest Airlines flight Tuesday. He turned to his wife, Stephanie. "I feel for her family".

"What took place back there I'm gonna leave, out of respect for her family, I'm gonna leave that alone", Needum said.

"I feel for her family", Mr Needum said.

After several minutes, a man in a cowboy hat and a second man were finally able to pull Riordan back into her seat, according to passenger Amy Serafini.

Ms Macken was relieved when Tim McGinty and Andrew Needum helped pull the woman back into the aircraft. She died later from her injuries.

Over the past week the entire airline industry was shocked after the unfortunate death of a woman that was caused by an exploding engine on a Southwest Airlines flight.

He continued, "We may never know what that reason is, [but] God put us all on that plane for a reason, I don't know why ..." The FBI has asked anyone who find parts of the aircraft to contact the agency's Allentown, Pennsylvania, office.

"I just knew at that moment that someone else needed him much more than we did and that's what his calling is".

Air traffic control transmission clearly shows Shults had a calm, measured demeanor during the crisis.

Mackey said that she remembers the bang followed by Mrs Riordan being found in the horrific situation. "She comforted everyone. She's an wonderful person". She joined The Post in 1999.
