Flyers, Claude Giroux Beat Bruins in OT; Move Closer To Playoffs

Konecny got a pass across to Giroux for a one-timer and he scored to make it a 1-0 Flyers lead.

It took Jakub Voracek's pep talk and Claude Giroux's acrobatics to finally give host Philadelphia a crucial win.

Mrazek appeared well on his way to helping the Flyers win this very important game when four attempts by the Flyers to clear the zone failed in the final seconds, leading to a terrific goal by Patrice Bergeron with 3.8 ticks left on the regulation clock.

"The play at the end of the game is a play that can't happen".

The Bruins gained a point to stand at 49-17-12 and remain two points up on Tampa Bay in the Eastern Conference.

The Flyers are back in action on Tuesday night for their final road game of the regular season, taking on the New York Islanders.
