The hit-by-pitch comes nearly exactly 11 months after Freeman was sidelined for eight weeks with a broken left wrist on a similar play.

Braves All-Star Freddie Freeman took himself out of Wednesday's game against the Phillies after he was hit by a 90 miles per hour fastball from Edubray Ramos on the left wrist.

A CT scan on Thursday confirmed the good news for Freeman.
