Facebook places full-page ads in British newspapers to apologize for Cambridge Analytica data leak
The Australian Privacy Commissioner is considering regulatory action against Facebook following revelations that the personal data of 50 million users had been harvested and used to influence the result of the 2016 USA election.

Cambridge Analytica claimed it helped Republican State Senate candidates in Colorado. He concluded with a promise to make the platform safer and that the assurance that the developers can't get this access to this kind of data again.
