The sports world has rallied around the Humboldt community since the crash, including the NHL, whose commissioner told USA TODAY Sports the league sent out Broncos stickers to all teams to wear on their helmets during the playoffs.
A firework display was put on Monday night after a service at the former Immanuel Pentecostal Church, now called My Church Winnipeg, on Wilkes Avenue in memory of those killed or injured.

An advisory committee is being established to make a recommendation for the allocation of funds. The Broncos plan to provide an update when they've "formalized the composition of this committee".
That foundation will aim to support players, employees, families and volunteers of the team, but also first responders, emergency services personnel, teams, athletes, related organizations and communities affected by the crash and its aftermath.
