Idris Elba
Netflix, the world's leading internet entertainment service, announced today, all new original comedy series, Turn Up Charlie, created, in the United Kingdom, by Idris Elba (who stars and executive produces) and television producer Gary Reich.
Though perhaps best known for dramas like The Wire and Luther, Elba's not new to comedy; he now appears on the United Kingdom comedy In the Long Run (which he also created) and had a recurring role on the USA version of The Office. As of yet, no other casting has been announced.
The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Idris Elba is set to create and star in the Netflix comedy series Turn up Charlie. Upstart Crow's Matt Lipsey directs but further cast details are yet to be announced.

From Heimdall in Thor, to Stringer Bell in The Wire, and Nelson Mandela in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Elba has been gracing fans with immaculate performances for years.
