There's also an extended period of freezing rain through Wednesday morning for much of Newfoundland. There will be off and on showers throughout the day with winds from the south at 10-25 miles per hour. The low will be near 42 degrees.

Mother Nature just had to bring in one more round of snow showers for the High Country on Monday after heavy rains and thunderstorms dampened the area on Sunday. Our low temperatures tonight will be in the lower to mid 30s.

It's been a cloudy and chilly day across the region. High temperatures in the upper 40's. It will feel even colder thanks to windy conditions.

Monday and Tuesday look to be the best days of the week so far with clear, sunny skies and temperatures nearing the 70's.

Snow showers likely, mainly before noon. Clouds will tend to clear away Friday night and the mercury will dip into the 30s across much of the state. Colder Thursday with snow showers mixing with some rain. Low: 51. High: 76. Friday will be chilly but dry. We will have a mix of clouds and sunshine. It will be a nice day for the Blue White Game.

Wednesday: Calmer with partly sunny skies and highs in the 50's.
