The production house announced that actor Vijay Sethupathi will join veteran actor Rajinikanth in their upcoming film. According to reports, Sethupathi will possibly play the role of the antagonist in the Rajinikanth film. "However, I can not reveal if he will be playing the villain character". While Rajini has Kaala and 2.0 ready to release, Vijay Sethupathi has 96, Super Deluxe, Junga, Seethakaathi, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in various stages of production. With this deadly combo, we are expecting the untitled venture to set a new benchmark in the Tamil cinema.
Recently, rumours were rife that Karthik Subbaraj had met Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Mumbai. The film features an ensemble cast of Arvind Swami, Simbu, Jyotika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, Thyagarajan, Jayasudha and newbie Dayana.
