Malala to continue campaign for girls' education
Malala, 20, arrived in Islamabad on March 29, six years after she was shot by a gunman for campaigning for female education in 2012 in Pakistan's Swat Valley.
A smiling Malala was seen with her parents at Benazir Bhutto International Airport before they boarded a plane to return to London after the four-day visit.
After visiting Mingora on Saturday, she tweeted that it was "the most lovely place on earth" for her.
The visit was kept highly secret and hardly anyone knew until she landed in Islamabad and was driven in security to a hotel.
The trip comes two days after Malala, now a student at Oxford University in the United Kingdom, made her emotional return to Pakistan, where her unannounced visit has been met with widespread joy and pride.
While in Pakistan, she paid a short visit to her hometown in the northwestern Swat Valley, expressing "joy" and telling former friends and neighbors, "It is still like a dream for me to be among you".

Post the attack, the Taliban released a statement saying that they would target Malala again if she survived.
She said, "Nowadays my focus is only on my education ensuring every girl that she has the right to higher education and making her future on her own choice".
Nobel Peace Prize victor Malala Yousafzai says she has pined for her home in Pakistan's picturesque Swat Valley, even as she recalled two years living in fear under the Taliban's harsh interpretation of Islamic law.
Opponents were murdered, people were publicly flogged for supposed breaches of sharia law, women were banned from going to market, and girls were stopped from going to school.
"I know that millions of girls around the world are out of school and may never get the opportunity to complete their education", Malala wrote at the time.
