MARY BERRY IS the grandmother of everyone's dreams, so the notion of her getting the third degree by a gang of uniformed security, who are convinced she is an global drug smuggler, doesn't exactly sit easy with us. Claudia gushed about taking up the opportunity to work with Mary.

She went on to become the queen of sweet treats and BBC's reisdent baker on The Great British Bake Off, Mary Berry Everyday and Classic Mary Berry.

Berry appeared on "The Graham Norton Show" to discuss her new BBC One show, "Britain's Best Home Cook".

He told host Graham: "I was allowed to read the whole script so I do know what is happening but I can't tell you about it".

Mary Berry revealed she was once arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in the United States after packing flour in her suitcase. So I weighed out all the ingredients - flour, sugar - and put them all in little plastic bags.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, the former Great British Bake Off presenter revealed how she ended up in an airport cell 25 years ago.

The moment she arrived the airport, Berry said sniffer dogs made their way straight to her.

"Suddenly I was surrounded by uniformed people and my assistant and I were put in separate cells". I just wanted to be with her!'

The show will involve amateur cooks who will be set two challenges - a home favourite and an improvised dish based around a single ingredient and they must demonstrate flair, skill and creativity. The pair will be discussing their new BBC show, Britain's Best Home Cook.
