Say it ain't snow! More expected Wednesday
27 Storm Track meteorologist Max Tsaparis forecasts the storm to start with a wintry mix Wednesday morning, switching to snow at night, with totals of 2 to 4 inches in the Madison area - the most to the north and west and least to the south and east.
The NWS has also issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY, in effect from 10 AM Wednesday to 1 AM Thursday, for Stephenson, Winnebago, Ogle, Boone, Carroll, and Whiteside counties.
Snow or rain changing to snow is expected to spread from the Dakotas and northern Nebraska into northern Iowa and southern Minnesota on Tuesday night. Expect hazardous road conditions, especially in the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will reach a high of 36 degrees, with wind gusts as high as 25 miles per hour.
