But the weirdest measure of all comes in the form of clear backpacks, issued to all students at no cost and deemed mandatory by school officials.

Students returned to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Monday for the first time since they organized one of the largest youth-led protests in U.S. History, March For Our Lives.

Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have continually targeted the NRA for its influence in Washington and have gone after lawmakers who have accepted money from the organization. He also was able to hide his AR-15 in a bag, officials added. On social media, students criticized-and mocked-the clear backpacks, comparing them to airport security.
