Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco go up for pre-order in India
Within a couple of weeks, HMD Global started rolling out the April security patch for the Nokia 1, and the recently launched Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 (2018) smartphones. The Nokia 6 (2018) at Rs16,999 is already available in the country.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco includes enhanced Dual-Sight, ZEISS optics and carefully tuned acoustics with Nokia spatial audio, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is an ultra-compact powerhouse, "and our most handsome smartphone to date", HMD Global said.
Some other offers on the two phones are - 10% discount on purchases made by ICICI card (revised from previous 5%). Nokia 8 Sirocco customers on Airtel will also get an extended free subscription to the Airtel TV app till 31 December 2018. Airtel customers also stand the chance to receive a ₹2,000 credit, and those picking up the phone will be able to get a 25% discount on domestic hotel bookings at MakeMyTrip.
Furthermore, all Nokia 7 Plus consumers will also be eligible for a complimentary 12-month accidental damage Insurance by Servify on opening the Kotak 811 savings account and activating it.

It sports Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The battery on the device is also impressive with packing 3,800mAh worth of stamina along with fast charging capabilities. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform coupled with 4GB of RAM. Inside, there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset paired with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
Camera: 12 MP primary rear camera with 2L7 wide-angle lens, 1.4um pixel size, f/1.7 aperture + 13 MP secondary camera with 3M3 Telephoto lens, 1.0um pixel size, f/2.6 aperture, dual-tone flash, 2x optical zoom and 5MP front-facing camera with 1.4um pixel size.
The phone comes with the same connectivity options which include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and NFC. The smartphone is backed by a 3260mAh battery.
