The woman gave a description of the man and officers arrested Suffolk County District Court Judge Robert Cicale nearby on Rosemary Place.
A NY judge accused of breaking into a neighbor's home to steal her worn underpants pleaded not guilty Friday to a felony burglary charge.
Police said Cicale was found with the woman's worn panties in his possession. He added that he snuck into the woman's home on several occasions, opening her hamper, and stealing underwear, according to ABC 7 NY.
Robert Cicale, when busted for grabbing the undies of his 23-year-old former intern, was carrying a raincoat - its pockets filled with additional panties, authorities said. Cicale was charged with second-degree burglary.
Cicale has written letter of apology to victim and also provided a written confession.

Dec hosts Saturday Night Takeaway on his own - how did he do?
Declan Donnelly returned to present Saturday Night Takeaway on his own at the weekend, following last week's cancellation. But Ant is nowhere to be seen, after his team and ITV bosses decided he would not take part in the programme.
According to a criminal complaint, Cicale admitted that he "went into the house to take the panties. but left when I heard someone home". "The panties I had on me are from the other times I went into the house".
Neighbors were stunned after finding out about the Suffolk County District judge's arrest and called the incident "perverted".
"Cicale's attorney said his client had a stellar reputation". Cicale was "temporarily relieved of his judicial duties" and the matter was referred to the state's Court of Appeals to determine whether to suspend the jurist, court system spokesman Lucian Chalfen said.
Orders of protection have been issued against the judge, which prevent him from contacting the victim and her family members.
Cicale was booked into the county jail and released after posting a $50,000 bail bond and pleading not guilty in court.
"Every judge, every lawyer respects him, and we just have to see how the process plays out", Wexler told reporters outside the courtroom.
