OnePlus 6 launch on 18 May
It seems that there is no space for ambiguity about how OnePlus is planned to target Indian mobile consumers. Ahead of the launch, several leaks have surfaced online giving out details of the upcoming smartphone.
The features which are being confirmed for OnePlus 6 is consists of the almost same back panel design as the OnePlus 5T, iPhone X-like gesture controls, Alert Slider's integration in the camera, "Notch" above the display, 3.5mm headphone jack inclusion, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and IP68 water resistance anyhow. The company also hinted at water and dust resistance on its next flagship device.
Coming back to the OnePlus 6 release date, other reports have indicated that the phone could be unveiled later this month or in early May. The creators of the video show a UBS Type-C port along with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which has been confirmed by OnePlus. A redesigned alert slider (with red colour base) will be present on the left above the volume rocker keys, while the power button could be placed on the right.

The smartphone is likely to be available from the company's own website as well. To keep at it, they have confirmed that the phone will feature the Snapdragon 845 SoC processor and will come with 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage. There will also be a 256GB storage version, which would cost even higher.
The launch of the OnePlus 6 seems nigh, and the anticipation around the smartphone is increasing by the day. The much-awaited smartphone will be priced at Rs 39,999.
