Ontario PC leader makes campaign stops in Sarnia-Lambton

A key strategist for Kathleen Wynne's re-election campaign told a Toronto TV station that he believes people think her opponent Doug Ford is "a bit of a dick".

The premier called Ford a bully and a coward and said he's borrowing from Trump's playbook.

Earlier this week, she accused Ford of going low, comparing him to Donald Trump after he insinuated she and the Liberals have acted criminally. "He believes in an ugly, vicious brand of politics that traffics in smears and lies".

"She can fight an election in another country, but I'm going to focus on the people of Ontario", Ford added to refute Wynne's accusation that he isn't focused on Ontarians. "I am dead against that." says Ford. "He may be Donald Trump, but I'm not Hillary Clinton. and Ontario is not the United States of America". "People liked Rob Ford, he was a popular guy, he won the mayoralty", Herle said. "But I fully understand that there's a small epidemic out there and we have to help these people and we'll make sure we have the resources to help them".

Ford repeated his promise to order a full outside audit of government books if elected premier.
