Overwatch PTR Welcomes Hanzo Rework, Horizon Lunar Colony Changes, and More
With the Overwatch League in full swing and the game's two-year anniversary approaching next month, Blizzard seem ready to make some major-and generally agreeable-changes across the board. Now, we know exactly what it has in store for the character, as these changes have been implemented on the PC version's Public Test Realm, alongside the new Rialto map and other changes. Fortunately - and unfortunately for some of us - Hanzo's Scatter Arrow is gone, giving its place to Storm Arrows, a new focused ability that fires 6 lower damage arrows but are always fires at maximum power. Meanwhile, his projectile speed has been increased from 85 to 100, while his Sonic Arrow's cooldown has been reduced in exchange for a shorter duration and smaller radius. The new ability allows Hanzo to send six simultaneous arrows flying through the air at the cost of reduced damage. Lucio's Wall Ride has been reworked; Blizzard said it's a "huge improvement", and it's now less likely to be interrupted if you're sticking to the same surface. Aside from the highly-anticipated Hanzo changes, the update also buffs Lucio and nerfs a handful of heroes. He can also go around corners using it without leaving the wall, and it's possible to jump away from a wall and then return to it. Overwatch's most iconic hero receives her first nerf with her Pulse Bomb now dealing reduced damage.
There's one last feature on this PTR as well, albeit one that isn't officially available yet.
