Islamic Jihad : Israeli Mossad Assassinated Palestinian Engineer in Malaysia
Israel's defense minister says Gaza's Hamas rulers are the "only culprits" in the death of a Palestinian boy who was killed by Israeli army fire in protests on the Gaza-Israel border.
The family of a Palestinian professor and Hamas member yesterday accused Israel's Mossad spy agency of killing him on the streets of Kuala Lumpur.
Police chief Mazlan Lazim declined to comment on whether the man was a Hamas member, when asked by Reuters.
A Hamas statement said al-Batsh was "assassinated at treacherous hands on Saturday.as he walked for the dawn prayers". "We will investigate the case until the arrest of the perpetrators of the crime", he added, stating that the country's law enforcement will seek help from Interpol and Aseanapol to track down the suspects.
The Hamas militant wing is suggesting that a Palestinian engineer and lecturer shot dead in Malaysia was one of its commanders. While the identity of the perpetrators is still unknown, they are believed to be Caucasian, according to the Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. He told local media that initial investigations showed the assailants were "white men" driving a powerful BMW 1100cc motorbike.
