Family says woman was murdered by friend who stole her identity to hide from police
That's when police in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, identified Lois Riess as a suspect in the death of 59-year-old Pamela Hutchinson.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office believes Riess picked out Hutchinson because the two shared a likeness - and murdered her for her vehicle, credit cards, and ID.
A United States woman who "smiles and looks like anyone's mother or grandmother" has been accused by police of befriending another woman so that she could murder her and steal her identity.
Updates on the Minnesota homicide will be posted on the Dodge County Sheriff's Office Facebook page and Twitter page.
On April 5, a snippet of surveillance video taken at a happy hour on April 5 at the Smokin' Oyster Brewery in Fort Myers, shows Lois Riess talking to Hutchinson. "It has been determined that Riess has left Florida and traveled through the Gulf States". Her cash, credit cards, identification and auto were all found stolen, police said.

Marceno said Hutchinson's vehicle had been spotted in Louisiana and around Corpus Christi in the days after Hutchinson's body was found. "Her current whereabouts are unknown".
Lois Riess is considered armed and unsafe, and authorities say she should not be approached.
The search for Lois Riess began just across the Dodge County line on the night of March 23 after Dodge County Sheriff's deputies found the body of David Riess in their home. Rose said he is in contact with the U.S. Marshals Service, which does not believe Riess crossed the Texas border into Mexico.
Riess stole Hutchinson's auto, which has been seen in Louisiana and Texas.
Riess is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 165 pounds with brown eyes and blond hair, which is now lighter than in the photo that authorities have circulated over social media and through news outlets.
