President Trump on Sunday declared "NO MORE" to a deal to help Dreamer immigrants and threatened to pull out of a free trade agreement with Mexico unless it does more to stop people from crossing into the U.S. He claimed they're coming to take advantage of protections granted certain immigrants.

An hour after he wished Americans a "HAPPY EASTER", Trump fired off three tweets in which he vented, sometimes in all-caps, about immigration laws he derided as "ridiculous" and "dumb" and about border enforcement he deemed dangerously lax.

Prior to these tweets, Trump and Congress had attempted to negotiate a deal on the DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, program.

Before heading into church, Trump tweeted that the immigration situation is "getting more dangerous" and "caravans" are coming.

On Twitter, the president wrote, "republicans must go to nuclear option to pass tough laws now".

He also blamed Mexico for doing "very little" to stop the flow of people and drugs into the United States.

Trump in September of previous year ended Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which grants work authorizations and protection from deportation to undocumented young people who meet certain qualifications. Linking the future of the 24-year-old trade deal to Trump's border wall plan has never been among US negotiating objectives.

In calling on Republican leaders in the Senate to "go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW", the president was referring to Senate rules that require 60 votes for legislation to pass.

"I mean, how many times do we have to hear stories of United States citizens being killed by people that are here illegally before we actually do something?" Proposed DACA deals crafted by lawmakers also were not open to new participants.

Although Mr Trump threatened a veto last month of an omnibus spending bill because it did not address the fate of Dreamers and did not fully fund his border wall, he did sign the bill.
