Lawyers confirm Turkish teachers are still in Kosovo

President Tayyip Erdogan's spokesman said on Friday Turkey expected its allies to take a clear stance against terrorism instead of taking steps that amount to legitimising "terror structures".
Ankara alleged the six men were members of US-based Turkish Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen's Islamic movement. Kosovo Prime Minister Haradinaj on Friday dismissed the interior minister and the secret service chief.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, or AKI, reported that "the only reason why these Turkish citizens were deported is related to their illegal actions in Kosovo which, as AKI says, have endangered Kosovo's national security". The decision to dismiss the interior ministry and intelligence chief was a domestic issue in Kosovo, Gul said.
One of the six, Kahraman Demirez, is accused of actively helping to increase involvement in the movement in the Balkans while Cihan Ozkan is suspected of sending money collected from Balkan countries to leaders of the Gulen movement in Pennsylvania, Anadolu said.

Turkish state news agency Anadolu described the six men expelled from Kosovo as senior individuals in the Gulen movement.
At its peak, the Gulen movement operated schools in 160 countries from Afghanistan to the United States. Those deported from Kosovo worked in schools and clinics supported by Gulen's movement.
Relatives of the six had stayed at Pristina airport until the early hours of Saturday after rumors spread that they might still be in Kosovo.
"Those who host at the highest level the members of a terrorist organisation, which has been freely carrying out its activities in their countries, should be aware that this is nothing but an expression of hostility against Turkey", he said.
There was no other comment from the USA which played the most prominent role in Kosovo's becoming independent, or the European Union to which the partially-recognized state is an aspiring member.
"It certainly will hurt Kosovo, both for throwing doubt on the rule of law and political authority and for cooperation with a regime that is authoritarian and increasingly antagonistic with the EU", Bieber told Reuters.
