In a tweet, Karan mentioned that the film is an epic drama and is slated to release next year. The movie is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and you all are going to love the long star cast of the movie.
Confirming the development, Karan Johar said: "Kalank has been an emotional journey for me".
The film Kalank is directed by Abhishek Varman, who was the man behind Alia Bhatt - Arjun Kapoor's 2 States. "So, I am really looking forward to it", Sonakshi said, adding that she is excited to star in the same film as Madhuri Dixit. "A beautifully structured story by Shibani Bathija and an exceptionally fluid narrative and screenplay by Abhishek". KJo has already erected the sets of the film and Madhuri tweeted how impressed when she saw them yesterday.
Several reports also suggest that the Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit episode has been chopped off from his biopic that casts Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role and has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The sets are breathtaking.
Varun Dhawan who is collaborating with Karan Johar for the fourth time shared a photograph of the filmmaker with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
