Ex 'Smallville' Star Arrested for Sex Cult Ties
Or more aptly: is the Smallville actress Allison Mack getting arrested for her role in an alleged sex slave cult?!
In late March 2018, Raniere was arrested at a luxury villa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and was extradited to Fort Worth, Texas where he was slapped with sex trafficking and forced labor conspiracy charges.
Raniere left the United States previous year after the New York Times reported that some women who joined a group in his organization had been branded with a symbol that included his initials.
Footage posted online showed Mack and another actress, Nicki Clyne, chasing a police vehicle after Raniere's arrest.
She is charged in a three-count indictment with sex trafficking, sex trafficking recruiting and conspiracy to commit forced labor, with the victims listed as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2.
