GETTY RUSSIA Britain launch new attack on Russian leader
Meanwhile, Sky News reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is floating a conspiracy theory that Britain could have poisoned Skripal in order to distract from the Brexit mess, which is a fairly brazen attempt to distract via a distraction accusation, no?
"There could be a whole number of reasons and none of them can be ruled out", Lavrov said.
British authorities now say that the nerve agent was probably smeared on Skripal's Salisbury doorknob, which makes it likely that the act was ordered by the Kremlin.
"Now, it seems to me our Western partners - I mean Great Britain in the first place, the United States and several countries which blindly follow them - have dropped all propriety".
Britain and more than two dozen of its allies expelled more than 150 Russian diplomats.

'I'm back!': Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to Twitter after emergency open-heart surgery

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov denounced the British accusations on Monday as a "mad and awful provocation".
"You know, as we used to say in childhood - "he who started must be the first to stop too", he said. He argued that Russia had no motive to attack Skripal, who was released in a 2010 spy swap from a Russian prison where he was serving time for spying for Britain.
At the news briefing, Lavrov reiterated that Moscow had no interest in poisoning Skripal, especially ahead of the presidential election on March 18 and the FIFA World Cup to be held in Russian Federation in June and July.
Britain has dismissed the various, often contradictory, theories, that Russian Federation has put forward, with even the Foreign Office publicly mocking them on social media. British intelligence agencies could have been involved and the case helped distract public attention from the British government's hard talks to exit the European Union, Lavrov said.
Prior to this, the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the "presentation" booklets that British officials have recently handed out to foreign officials in Moscow.
