Stella Artois recalls products sold in Canada for possible glass particles
If you're a Stella Artois drinker it might be a good idea to check your stock.
The company says that the recall comes after the detection of a glass packaging flaw in some 11.2-ounce (330ml) bottles that may cause a small piece of glass to break off and possibly fall into the beer.
According to a press release, a manufacturing flaw was found in a number of bottles from one of several third party production facilities that provide packaging for Stella Artois.
Stella Artois has issued a recall across Canada and the USA due to a possible defect in their 330 ml glass bottles.
Anheuser-Busch InBev and Labatt Breweries have announced that bottles of Stella Artois in Canada and the USA are being recalled due to a risk of them containing glass particles.
The company says packages that are affected have package codes of 49, 52 or 55 and best-before dates ranging from February 20, 2018, to September 26, 2018, in Canada.

Stella Artois issued a voluntary recall on Monday due to possible particles of glass found in some products sold in Canada.
The affected packages have codes 49, 52, or 55 and best-before dates ranging from February 13, 2018, to February 2, 2019.
