Though Swift doesn't take any of the verses herself, she is the one who penned the poignant song, offering "Babe" to Sugarland after writing it with Train frontman Pat Monahan previous year.

The tune, which says, "What a waste / Taking down the pictures and the plans we made, yeah / And it's unusual how your face doesn't look so innocent / Your secret has its effect and that's on you, babe", was given to Sugarland by Swift.

Sugarland has shared another track from their upcoming album Bigger , and it's probably the one everybody's most excited to hear.

"Babe" is a track that was written by Swift and Train's Pat Monahan and was exclusively intended for her fourth studio album RED but eventually got cut. "I love that we have done exactly what we said we were going to do".

Monahan said of the collaboration at the time, "It's a song called "Babe".

"She's very talented, she's a no-nonsense young kid. And I think that's what I admire the most [about her]".

For the rest of 2015, Taylor was uber-focused on her 1989 tour and burgeoning pop career, but just when fans thought she forgot about her country roots completely, she did something extraordinary: She showed up to the 50th annual CMA Awards in 2016 to present the award for Entertainer of the Year. Both of their vocals soar as Nettles sings of a lover doing her wrong ("We're a wreck, you're the wrecking ball/ We said no one else, how could you do this, babe?") and Swift's echoes making the breakup tune as haunting as it is catchy.

Bush also added that this was the first time they had a track written by another artist, and they "didn't want to mess it up". "It's a really good song".
