According to KDFW's report, the impact severed a gas line, and about seven minutes later, the house exploded.

The Hurst Police Department tweeted the footage this morning after receiving requests for the dash cam video from one of the officers who responded to the scene.

She and her husband Charles Bridges were pulled from home after the explosion, and during a almost three-hour natural gas fueled fire, by Hurst Fire crews and police. "It was more of just react, it was more of life-saving, than it was train on tactics or things of that nature".
