As we said, The CW does need to make way for new television series and they did recently announce that they would expand their primetime viewing to six nights (Sunday to Friday) come October this year when all the series start back up again... The CW has really had some of the least turnover of all of the networks in recent seasons, with a large majority of shows getting renewed last season and now that has continued once again.
Most of CW's prime-time lineup can rest easy: the network has given most of its series early renewals. While we love Supernatural, could this be the final season or will they wrap on Season 15?

According to TVLine, The CW has announced the renewal of 10 of their shows that include The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Riverdale, Supernatural, Jane the Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and even the two rookie series Dynasty and Black Lightning.
Arrow has had a rocky few years, delivering a particularly uneven season four before bouncing back with season five, and an even stronger sixth season. A formal announcement on that is expected to come closer to May's upfronts, when the broadcast networks pitch their schedules to Madison Avenue ad buyers. I have had nearly all of those shows at Renewal Likely status for a while and would have been surprised with anything less than the blanket renewal announcement. The CW will be deciding if there will be renewals for longer-running shows The 100 and iZombie or newer shows Life Sentence and Valor.

The actress posted an airplane selfie with her co-stars, including Vincent Rodriguez III, Gabrielle Ruiz, and Pete Gardner, to announce the news.
