Tripura CM claims satellite communication existed during the era of Mahabharata
Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday said India had Internet and sophisticated communication technology during the age of the Mahabharat, joining the league of BJP leaders whose claims have been described by sections of scientists as ludicrous. "Sanjaya (Dhritarashtra's charioteer) using the technology gave a detailed account and description to the blind king about the battle of Kurukshetra", said Tripura CM. "It means internet was there, the satellites and that technology was there in this country at that time", said CM Deb.
The 47-year-old Biplab Deb said that while European nations and the United States may claim that the internet and satellite systems are their invention, it's actually India's technology. "How could Dhritarashtra see through Sanjay's eyes?"
"Internet and satellite system had existed in India during lakhs of years ago".
The chief minister expressed, "I feel proud that I am born in a country with such an advanced technology, the countries which claim themselves to be technologically advanced are hiring Indian talent to upgrade their software mechanism".
