Trump outraged over Mexico migrant 'caravan'
Mr Trump moved the issue of immigration into the spotlight as the American media tracked the progress of a group of about 1,200 mostly Honduran migrants through Mexico towards the United States.
"They're actually increasingly trying to manage the border together, and part of the reason the border is more in control now than it's ever been is that the U.S. and Mexican governments work together now more than ever - and the last thing the USA needs now is to blow up that cooperation", Selee said. Mexico & Canada have tough immigration laws, whereas ours are an Obama joke.
"Mexico has the absolute power not to let these large "Caravans" of people enter their country", the president wrote.
Trump on Monday also again urged Congress to protect the USA border, using the so-called nuclear option, which would alter Senate rules to allow a simple majority to pass legislation, if necessary.
Since taking office more than a year ago, Trump has focused on cracking down on legal and undocumented immigration.
Trump rejected one deal with Democrats which would have funded a border wall, which he promised throughout his campaign for the White House would be paid for by Mexico.
Trump's use of the term "caravans" - also made in a sequence of tweets on Easter Sunday - was a reference to a large group of people who are heading through Mexico, hoping to reach the USA border.
He has repeatedly tried to link immigration with crime but immigrant defenders say many immigrants are fleeing poverty and violence.

Abeja said the Mexican government was in a hard position with the caravan, given the growing publicity attached to its daily progress.
Police were trying to restore order at the La Toma prison in Veracruz state, but "were driven back by inmates who had seized tools from the carpentry workshop" and were using them as weapons, the state government said.
"But it also can't take direct action (such as deporting the migrants) because there is already a lot of public exposure".
