Tonight's Forecast: It's been a warm start to the work and school week. The strong, gusty winds and low humidity will continue into Tuesday for numerous areas.

The National Weather Service issued red flag fire warnings through 9 p.m. Tuesday and said the fire danger will be only slightly reduced Wednesday. Mild and breezy overnight.

A strong cold front moving through Colorado and a high pressure moving to the east created quite the windy Tuesday for us.

Because of that, a High Wind Watch is in effect for all of these areas - which includes Gaines County - from Tuesday morning until Tuesday evening.
