Nasim Aghdam's Social Media: Facebook, YouTube Posts
Authorities say that Nasim Aghdam was angry about the policies and practices of the company and carried out an attack Tuesday at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, south of San Francisco.
Authorities have promised a deeper investigation into the shooter's past and her anger with the policies of the world's largest online video website, identified as her motive for attacking it. Instead, she entered an outdoor courtyard via a parking garage.
NBC reported Wednesday that a Turkish YouTube star made a supercut of her videos two years ago, calling it "enough nightmare fuel for years". A 32-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman were both released.
YouTube says that it will improve its security at its worksites after a gunman shot three others and herself - but that's going to be a tough task on Silicon Valley's giant, open campuses. Aghdam's videos were watched by nine million people, but she found out that getting famous on YouTube doesn't guarantee a big payout.
Sheriff's officials declined to provide further details about what was reported.

Police in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Mountain View said they spoke to Ismail Aghdam twice after contacting the family to report finding his daughter sleeping in her vehicle early Tuesday. YouTube commends the police response as "exceptional" and for entering the building to protect employees.
Federal and state investigators have searched two homes associated with the family, collecting evidence.
Kimia Shobeiri, 18, suggested the shooting was a ploy to get attention.
