Alexander Zverev defeated three-time former champion Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-3, 6-3 to defend his Munich Open title on Sunday.
"I am obviously very happy with how I played", said Zverev.

Sousa, who became the first home player to win in 29 years of the tournament, sunk to the clay in tears upon his moment of triumph.

"But I think I won the tiebreaker in the third due to move experience in those situations. It was a great week for me and for sure I will be coming back next year".
