The four-time Oscar nominee joins Brie Larson, with her role said to be that of a scientist. The latest, is pretty surprising, as Annette Bening has been confirmed as joining the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie - in what is her first comic book movie to date.
Principal photography has begun in Los Angeles.
