An air strike targeted the office of the presidency in Yemen's rebel-held capital Sanaa on Monday. They say some of the strikes hit the presidency, located in the busy commercial district of Tahrir.
The Saudi Press Agency quoted Al-Maliki as saying that this hostile action by the Houthi militia supported by Iran proves the continued involvement of the Iranian regime in supporting the Houthi armed militia with qualitative capabilities in a clear and explicit violation of United Nations resolution 2216 and resolution 2231 in order to threaten the security of Saudi Arabia and regional and global security.
The coalition has been fighting against the Houthi rebels in Yemen since 2015.
According to the Arab News, Houthi rebels have threatened "to blow up 19 ships carrying over 200,000 tons of fuel in the the Al-Mukhtaf area of Hodeidah port".
Photos circulated in social media show disturbing images of panicked people, some partially covered with blood, running here and there, with streets filled with rubble, buildings shattered, and cars bent out of shape.
