Netflix just dropped a remixed version of Season 4 on Friday, and on Monday they released the Season 5 trailer and premiere date.

The Bluths are back, and they're as loathsome and self-absorbed as ever.

Hurwitz's announcement also included the news that the somewhat maligned Season 4 would be getting a remix and a re-release, which happened this past weekend, to recut it in the style of the first three seasons rather than giving one episode to each character. (Jeffrey Tambor), his mother Lucille (Jessica Walter), his brothers George Oscar Bluth II (Will Arnett), Buster Bluth (Tony Hale) and sister Lindsay Funke (Portia de Rossi), and Lindsay's husband Tobias (David Cross) and their daughter Maeby (Alia Shawkat).

Fans of the show can watch the trailer below, and everyone should set a reminder to see the new episodes on May 29th on Netflix. The fourth season on Netflix had a mixed reaction from fans and critics alike, but the Bluths are ready to have another go at it. (Though we haven't had a chance to watch yet, let us know if you have and what you think of it).

Said creator Mitchell Hurwitz about the renewal: "In talks with Netflix we all felt that that stories about a narcissistic, erratically behaving family in the building business - and their desperate abuses of power - are really underrepresented on TV these days". Tambor was sacked from the Amazon Original series Transparent after he was accused of harassment.
