This will be the LPGA Tour's first 36-hole event since the Bahamas-LPGA Classic in May 2013, which encountered flooding. Round two will start on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

The shot of Friday belonged to Emily Pedersen, who played 17 holes and is 2-under. Pedersen said the course played "a lot different from the practice rounds". "It was a great way to start because honestly I was a little bit exhausted and that got me going and motivated".
