Barcelona to face Mamelodi Sundowns in Mandela Centenary Cup
The Mandela Centenary Cup fixture between South Africa Premier Soccer League champions Sundowns and Barcelona promises to be a spectacle for ardent football lovers.
Stringent safety measures have also been put in place to help deal with an expected high volume of spectators that will be ascending on the FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Motsepe said "the intention was to play two games against Barcelona, the first featuring a full-strength Sundowns team taking on the La Liga champions, followed by a second match comprising of a team featuring a combination of players from Sundowns and other South African teams playing against Barcelona".
