Bill Belichick, Herschel Walker to be Appointed to President Trump's Sports Council
Belichick, among many others, will serve a two-year term.
The president is appointing Belichick to his Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, Axios reported Friday morning.
Back in February, President Trump signed an executive order that shaped the way the council would be handled moving forward.

Belichick is a Trump supporter, of course. The group-not to be confused with President Obama's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition-will try to motivate America's children to get off the couch and onto the ball field.
The council will reportedly include a number of well-known figures, including TV personality Dr. Mehmet Oz, former National Football League star Herschel Walker, former baseball star Mariano Rivera, golfer Natalie Gulbis and Olympic volleyball player Misty May-Treanor. In 2016, Belichick penned a letter to Trump congratulating him on his presidential campaign. According to Axios, the group consists of "some old Trump friends".
